Prue ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Situation descriptions — the text you type when submitting a read. This is sent to our backend to generate a verdict.
Anonymous device identifier — an app-scoped ID used to associate your reads with your history without requiring a login. It cannot be used to identify you across other apps.
Basic usage logs — timestamps and verdict results stored to power your history.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Situation descriptions are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate verdicts. Anthropic processes this data under their own Privacy Policy. We recommend avoiding full names, addresses, or sensitive contact details in your submissions.
Your reads are stored to power your history. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@prue.app. We will delete your data within 30 days.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Server access is restricted and credentials are stored securely.
Prue is not directed at children under 12. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 12.
You may request a copy of your data, request deletion, or opt out of processing beyond what's required to operate the app. Contact privacy@prue.app.
Changes to this policy will be posted at prue.app/privacy with an updated date.
